Aussie rules gets on my goat

Seriously, how is this a sport? For those that are uninitiated, Aussie Rules is a game where you go from one end to the other with the aim of kicking the ball between not 2, but 4 posts. That’s right, if you miss the main posts you can still get a point for getting in the general vicinity. Ridiculous. Now I respect that some people have different tastes (especially if they’re from Melbourne) but this is CANBERRA and there is no AFL team here. This is a rugby league town and the people need to realise it. Head down the pub to see the traditional NRL ANZAC match of the year and there’s a mob of Collingwood and Essendon diehards singing the team song and yelling out something about Pies. Hello!
