Ever been to jail?

Well neither had I, until Saturday night that was...

So there I was, happily minding my own business, just walking (perhaps skipping) down the side of Northbourne ave, when to my utter surprise, two cops came out of nowhere, tackled me to the ground and threw me in a divvy van! I was to spend the next 8 hours in a jail cell, where it was finally determined they didnt want to arrest me. What is going on in this world? Did someone say police state?

I spent the 8 hours trying to work out how long I had been then and how long it was before I could leave the said premise. It hard trying to sleep when there are herion junkies coming down screaming "I need help" and banging their heads against the wall so that blood is pouring from their foreheads.

P.S. The Australian Federal Police's version of events is some fanciful lie that I was insanely intoxicated and that I was chasing down cars and making them swerve to miss me. Could this be true? I have never heard a cop that tells the truth yet, probably more like something in the middle :)

Jeeze... when ldk gets arrested you know there's something seriously wrong with society.

He's an upstanding citizen by all accounts, I once saw him down at the local slums feeding, clothing and washing the feet of the homeless!

But how was the inside of the divvy van? I've been fortunate enough to avoid seeing the inside of one here, but they look so plush compared to the Adelaide shit-box ones.

Well having been lucky enough to experience both, i say the AFP ones are a lot nicer, roomier and a lot cleaner.

Dearest LDK,

Long time no see, I'd done been disattached. Just wanted to let you know that while you were being detained by the po in the neverlands, I was evading the po in NYC (apparently I was 'disruptive' and 'trying to start fights' in a public arena.) Parallel lives, boys. Go see my blog if you'd like to see how the evening ended.

Nice to see you again, fellers.
